 Maayong adlaw! Ako si Elika and I am a Christian!

I'm a simple 21 year-old shorty super shy Filipina who's saved by God's unconditional grace and is now on a journey to share the echoes of Bible verses that resonate with my soul as I strive to prioritize what glorifies the Lord. Just like the Chris Tomlin Nobody song says, "I'm just a nobody trying to tell everybody all about Somebody who saved my soul."

Once lost but now found, I believe God saved me by sacrificing Himself on the cross for my sins. Thus, now, I try my best to follow His example in everything I do. Creating this website is one of my simple ways to share God's words. I thought it would help me organize my Bible reading reflections, which I call "Verses' Echoes to My Soul." Even though I sometimes feel scared and doubtful, I find strength in God to face my challenges and overcome my limits. I know I have certain dependencies that make me different from others. Sometimes, I even need help figuring out how to respond in conversations and find making decisions hard because I'm afraid of taking risks. Life is complicated, but who cares if you have an indescribable and all powerful God, right?

As for my hobbies, I often get bored with things that used to interest me, like reading books, playing the guitar, and writing stories, poems, and songs. I've explored public speaking but always felt nervous and had low self-esteem, so I can say it's not really my thing. Haha! Since I was young, my biggest dream has been to become a great and caring teacher. I used to pretend to teach imaginary students and loved it. But as I grew up, I realized how tough teaching can be, especially with difficult students.

I also wanted to help the sick and perform surgeries, but financial issues stopped me from pursuing this right away. Still, I am determined to become a doctor after finishing my current studies. Waw! My ultimate dream is to be a skilled and compassionate doctor. By God's grace and mercy, as long as He permits, I want to achieve many goals, like traveling the world while sharing the Gospel, providing for my family, repaying my parents' kindness, helping others in need, and leaving a lasting, positive impact on the world. I hope and pray that you keep coming back to read my Bible reading reflections so that we can grow together spiritually.
